Day For Dubai is a mobile platform where different organisations can develop events based on several categories to provide volunteering opportunities to the people of Dubai. These organisations will award certificates to volunteers who successfully volunteer at events organised by them. These users will engage with the system using mobile and web-based interfaces. The goal of this application is to create and construct a system that allows organisations to organise events for the citizens of Dubai to spend their days volunteering to help those in need.

It is an event that invites everyone to volunteer one day a year — in any of the areas of volunteering in order to meet the needs of our community, preserve our city and protect our environment. Volunteering can take many forms, such as volunteering your time, knowledge, skills and compassion
In order to be part of the “Day for Dub” initiative, you must do the following – register through the smart phone app or the initiative official website: www.day4dubai.ae – Participate in available volunteering events on the official app or website – Suggest and participate in new volunteering opportunities
The main goal of this initiative is for everyone to volunteer at least one day a year to help others, so that they can volunteer all at once or through several volunteering opportunities throughout the year, but we strongly encourage making volunteering a lifestyle and therefore volunteering for more than one day is a commendable and encouraging step

Registration approval takes approximately 1-3 business days.

The ‘Day for Dubai initiative is mostly about donating your time to those in need, not your money.
Some voluntary assignments require certain skills, and it is possible that you meet these specifications. In this case, you can choose voluntary opportunities that suit your skills through the “Day for Dubai” application

Companies can participate by registering in the app.
Children from 6 to 18 years can participate in voluntary work if written consent is obtained from parents
